Early Career Poster Award 2017 for Ina Neugebauer and Camille Thomas

The International Association of Sedimentologists (IAS) and the French Association of Sedimentologists (ASF) have held the first joint International Meeting of Sedimentology in Toulouse, France, between the 10th and 12th of October. The Early Career Poster Award 2017 for best poster presentations was attributed to Ina NEUGEBAUER and Camille THOMAS. Ina and Camille are both postdoctoral fellows at the Limnogeology and Geomicrobiology group with Daniel Ariztegui and are funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Swiss National Science Foundation, respectively. Ina presented the first results of her investigations in the laminated sediments of Lago Fagnano, in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, while Camille presented his work on the subsurface biosphere of the Dead Sea in the Levantine region. Congratulations to both of them!
