Oliver Higgins won the best speed talk award at SEG2018

Oliver Higgins, now doctoral candidate in the Volcanology-Petrology Group, obtained last September the award to the best  "speed talk" at the 2018 Meeting of the Society of Economic Geologists, in Keystone, Colorado. In his 5 minute talk, he achieved to highlight in a clear way  the results of his masters project entitled “Metals and volatiles behaviour during protracted magma differentiation from the deep to upper crust: implications for porphyry copper deposit formation" supervised by Prof. John Blundy and Dr. Cyril Chelle-Michou, University of Bristol.
