Special Needs - Welcome
Are you studying at UNIGE and have special needs?
As a student with special needs, you may be eligible for accommodations to support your academic journey.
We refer to a "student with special needs" as a student with a diagnosed disorder and/or disability who faces obstacles in completing their studies.
Indeed, UNIGE offers reasonable accommodations in order to:
- Mitigate potential disadvantages resulting from a diagnosed condition and/or a disability,
- Allow you to pursue your university studies in the best possible conditions.
These measures comply with the principle of proportionality. They are implemented subject to material availability, feasibility, and other potential university constraints.
How It Works
The accommodations offered may pertain to studies or exams. In the first case, you will need to contact your Faculty directly, and in the second case, you will need to submit an “accommodation request” online to the Special Needs Office.
