How to respond in the event of an attack or threat to the community

Basic principles

A distinction is made between situations in which danger is imminent and situations that require an assessment of the danger (e.g. when an abandoned object is discovered, when a suspicious postal item is received, or when a bomb threat is received by telephone call).

In any case, keep calm and apply the following instructions.

Be prepared by reading the instructions in advance.

Presence of an armed person or in possession of explosives
