The Non-Slaveholder. Ed. Abraham Liddon Pennock, Samuel Rhoads, George W. Taylor & William J. Allinson. Philadelphia: Merrihew and Thompson, 1846-1854. 7 vols.
The journal of the Friends of Philadelphia Free Produce Association, created in Philadelphia 1838. Edited by the Quaker activists Abraham Liddon Pennock who was a supporter of Temperance and women's suffrage as well as the vice president of the Pennsylvania Anti-Slavery Society, Samuel Rhoads who was the sole editor for the last two years of publication, and George W. Taylor who ran a Free Produce store in Philadelphia and was a manager of the Association. In 1853, a new series began with a new editor, William J. Allinson and the issues become shorter.
