Let’s get carried away by the new and singular improvisations created from musical archives, including those of the Montreux Jazz Festival.

The technical challenges related to the live interaction of musicians with music archives, the originality and emotional impact of these artistic "co-creations", and the issues related to the use of artificial intelligence will then be presented and discussed within the Living Archive Research Group including Gérard Assayag (Director of Research, IRCAM, France), Dr. Alain Dufaux (EPFL), Prof. Christophe Fellay and Dr. Alain Renaud (EDHEA, Valais), Prof. Didier Grandjean (UNIGE).

Laissez-vous emmener par les improvisations nouvelles et singulières créées à partir d’archives musicales dont celles du Montreux Jazz Festival. 

Les défis techniques liés à l’interaction live de musiciens et d'archives musicales ainsi que l’originalité et l’impact émotionnel de ces « co-créations » artistiques ou les enjeux liés à l’intelligence artificielle utilisée seront ensuite présentés et discutés au sein du Living Archive Research Group avec Gérard Assayag (Directeur de recherche, IRCAM, France), le Dr Alain Dufaux (EPFL), le Prof Christophe Fellay et le Dr Alain Renaud (EDHEA, Valais), le Prof Didier Grandjean (UNIGE).
