Guidelines for UNIGE spin-offs
Unitec is pleased to announce guidelines that aim to simplify and clarify how the technology transfer is done when a spin-off company wishes to use and base its business on UNIGE intellectual property.

RENOWAVE Flagship Initiative founded
The Energy Systems Group of Dr Pierre Hollmuller at UNIGE received support from Innosuisse for its Flagship initiative RENOWAVE. Unitec provided the consortium agreement which set the rights and obligations of Empa, HES-SO Genève, HES-SO Fribourg, HSLU, UNIGE, UZH, ZHAW and 46 companies, public organisations & NPOs. RENOWAVE aims at decarbonizing Swiss buildings.

Financial support for highly innovative startups
The W.A. de Vigier Foundation offers up to six times CHF 100'000 per year to highly innovative entrepreneurs who want to launch performance- and growth- oriented businesses in Switzerland. Application deadline January 6, 2023. More information and registration here.
