Research interests
Guido Gendolla directs the Geneva Motivation Lab and the research group on the psychology of motivation at the Section of Psychology of the University of Geneva. His major research interest is the study of factors determining effort mobilization during cognitive tasks, using psychophysiological research methods. He is especially interested in the role of explicit and implicit affective influences on human behavior and the role of the agentic self in motivation.
