Liam Gunn is a PhD student in Multilingual Communication Management at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI) of the University of Geneva, under the direction of Prof. François Grin. He joined the Economics, Language and Education Research Group (élf) team in 2025 and works as an assistant in the GLAD (“Governance of Language Diversity”) project.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and political science from the University of Lausanne and a master’s degree in multilingualism studies and sociology from the University of Fribourg, where his education and academic works particularly focused on research into social dynamics related to individual and societal multilingualism.
