Environmental challenges and health issues are now closely linked: the quality of the environment directly affects human and animal health. The healthcare sector itself contributes to these challenges through its carbon emissions, energy consumption, and production of various forms of pollution. It is therefore essential to assess and reduce this impact while maintaining the quality of healthcare and research.

The UNIGE Faculty of Medicine is committed to reducing its environmental impact while preserving excellence in its teaching and research missions. Discover how the PERFoRMed project aims to address these challenges by assessing and reducing the environmental footprint of the University Medical Centre (CMU).
