A grant to limit lung infections
The laboratory of Prof. Marc Chanson received the support of the Geneva Lung League for their project entitled “Developing recombinant antibodies targeting the adhesion of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to the respiratory epithelium”.
This research grant should allow his team to develop antibodies which can block the adhesion of the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa to the respiratory epithelium. They hope to find a way to limit respiratory complications in people with chronic respiratory diseases.
