PhD students rewarded during Geneva Chemistry and Biochemistry Days

Geneva Chemistry and Biochemistry Days 2024

On January 18 and 19, 2024, the Geneva Chemistry and Biochemistry Days, organized by the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry , took place in the Grand Auditoire of the Ecole de Physique at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). These two days dedicated to promoting the section's scientific research provided an platform for PhD students nearing the end of their studies. These young researchers had the opportunity to present their work to the entire section, which was specially assembled for the occasion. The event was also enriched by the participation of five guest researchers, who shared their scientific advances in a stimulating and instructive manner.

The Chemistry and Biochemistry Section awards prizes for the best doctoral presentations given at the conference. The awards are presented by the vice-president of the Chemistry and Biochemistry section, Prof. Eric Bakker.
