Duration: 3 to 5 years

The Section offers an internationally renowned program in cutting-edge research. This independent research activity is complemented by customized courses, journal clubs, conferences, the annual out-of-town seminar held in the Swiss mountains, teaching opportunities and, what's more, a vibrant city, lake and mountains for evenings and weekends. The Doctoral School offers financially attractive scholarships, as well as eligibility for a Swiss National Research Fund grant to complement training with postdoctoral experience anywhere abroad. Entry is possible throughout the year, so please contact the group leaders to enquire about availability.

For a PhD in Biochemistry, enrolment in the PhD School in Life Sciences at the University of Geneva is encouraged.
