Catherine Dixon

Joining InZone as its Executive Director end of 2025, Catherine brings a wealth of more than 20 years experience in international cooperation and human rights with international NGOs (Humanity and Inclusion, Terre des hommes) both in headquarters and in-country positions. These included being in charge of human rights capacity development and advocacy, developing knowledge and learning management systems, supervising project design, fundraising and implementation in West African countries, managing a regional technical team and liaising with donors in the Middle East and developing steering mechanisms at different levels. An equity advocate, she is trained on gender and disability inclusion and training.
She contributed to the development of key functions in the organisations in which she worked, to enhance the efficiency and quality of operations and management, holding the global Quality and accountability manager position for Terre des hommes foundation until 2025. She also used her strategic thinking skills to support the development of multi-year strategic frameworks and their follow-up mechanisms.
A pragmatic leader, her experience working with very diverse international, national and local partner organisations in different countries has made her a positive believer in and contributor to participatory, adaptative and results-oriented approaches.
She is passionate about learning being available to all and contributing to taking further InZone’s track record of innovative blended learning model bringing together the best of academic and humanitarian work.
