Nathalie Bot is a biologist. She graduated from the Science Faculty of Geneva, Switzerland, and obtained a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2006. After several years dedicated to basic research focusing on breast cancer cells proliferation, then on neurobiology in the EPFL, she joined the Institute of Global Health of Geneva where she works as  coordinator of the PhD program in Global Health since 2014. She also works as a lecturer and supervises  third-year Bachelor of medicine students carrying out community health field-work projects and MAS Public Health students.

Since 2018, she has been working on the implementation of personalized medicine in oncology, using an ethnographic approach. Her research aims is to broaden our understanding of the practices and challenges of implementing personalized medicine, particularly in precision oncology field.
