Daniel Muscionico is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Global Health (ISG). A pharmacist by training, he earned his federal degree in Geneva and subsequently specialized in public health, obtaining a Master of Public Health (MPH).

Building on this professional background, Daniel is the founder of Helix Life Sciences, a strategy consultancy. His work is rooted in a deep understanding of medicines, medical devices, and the legal and regulatory frameworks that govern this field. To bridge the gap between clinical practice and institutional management, he earned an MBA in Management Control from the Geneva School of Economics and Management; his research focused on Managed Care and innovative healthcare compensation models, such as capitation.

At the ISG, Daniel delivers core instruction in public health and health economics to students within the Bachelor and Master of Pharmacy curriculum, as well as the CAS in Industrial Pharmacy and Quality Management.

Beyond his academic and professional activities, Daniel is a board member of pharmaGenève, the Geneva pharmacists association, where he participates in health promotion, screening campaigns and various local projects. He also contributes to national initiatives concerning Digital Health and the use of Real-World Data. Furthermore, he maintains a particular interest in issues related to patient rights and the development of patient engagement programs.
