Giulia joined the Centre as an intern in February 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Università del Piemonte Orientale in Biotechnology, with a thesis titled Evaluating the Effect of DGK Inhibitors on the Viability of an AML Cellular Model. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Global Health at the University of Geneva.
Giulia completed an internship with CRIMEDIM, WHO Collaborating Centre for Training and Research in Emergency and Disaster Medicine, authoring a systematic review on migrants’ utilization of emergency departments.
She is currently serving as co-coordinator of the Lancet Migration European Regional Hub.
In addition to her native Italian, Giulia is fluent in English and French and is working to improve her Spanish and German.
