Dejan has been a Senior Economist at the Institute of Global Health since 2017, and a senior monitoring and evaluation (M&E) consultant at UNOPS. He has vast multi-sectorial experience in both HQ and field missions, holding senior positions at the Global Alliance for Vaccination and Immunisation, the Global Fund, and United Nations agencies (UNAIDS, World Health Organisation, IOM). His focus is on strategies and policies for program improvement, M&E and operational research, economic evaluation, evidence-based economic modelling and econometrics, macroeconomic and micro-economic analysis, fiscal space, impact analysis, and allocative and technical efficiency. Dejan holds a PhD in Economics, as well as two MA degrees in Management and Mechanical Engineering.
