WHY IS THIS PHD IMPORTANT FOR me (FOR my CAREER , ORGANIZATION OR COUNTRY)?
I am interested in Global and public health. I wish even more to participate in the teachings of this program as my university studies, my various research and my current function have enabled me to observe that the examination of the determinants of health shows the complexity of the interactions between individuals and society, and encourages me as a researcher not only to acquire a more global vision of health issues but also to understand health and social problems through a more theoretical approach and a global vision of their issues. Indeed, cervical cancer is one of the major causes of maternal mortality in Cameroon.
The doctorate in biomedical sciences - mention global health that you propose, will thus offer me the possibility of being able to carry out my research work within the framework of the cervical cancer screening program and to contribute to women’s access to early detection and reduction in deaths from cervical cancer in Cameroon. Finally, this program will also prepare me for high-level leadership to make a difference in the fields of public health and health care and decision- analysis programs.
WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS PHD PROGRAM?
The PhD programme in global health is a complete programme that allows you to choose and complement your knowledge and skills in all other areas of health depending on what you want to learn.
It is also renowned for its flexibility and good organizational.
