WHY IS THIS PHD IMPORTANT FOR me (FOR my CAREER , ORGANIZATION OR COUNTRY)?

“The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.” — B.B. King Coming from physical sciences, I always wanted to embark on a journey into life sciences and deepen my understanding of global health. This will certainly take me out of my comfort zone and provide an ever enriching challenge.

WHY DID I CHOOSE this PHD PROGRAM?

The unique opportunity to study in a doctoral program embedded in international organizations across the globe, to become independent researchers whilst working a full-time job, was something I couldn't miss. The topic and the (co) supervisor, which I already knew before, also helped to choose this doctoral programme at the Institute of Global Health at UNIGE.
