why is this phd important for me (my career, organization or country)?

This PhD provides me amble opportunities to improve my research skills and broaden my knowledge around my research topics. I have the unique chance to engage with world-class researchers and institutions to gain state-of-the-art insights. I hope that my PhD will contribute to the evidence-base for policy development in Switzerland and more broadly.

why did i choose this phd program?

This PhD program was an easy choice for me as I already work at the University of Geneva and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and plentiful opportunities and events that are offered to both staff and students. Furthermore, Geneva is in some ways, the epicenter of Global Health and diplomacy and therefore provides a rich learning environment. In terms of the program itself, I like that it is flexible to suit my work and family life, and that the faculty members are very supportive and open-minded.
