biography
Bryany Denning has lived in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, for the past sixteen years. Over this time, she has worked in social epidemiology, child and family services, homelessness, and problematic substance use in various roles in both the Government of the Northwest Territories and the NGO sector. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD through the University of Geneva, focusing on substance use in the Northwest Territories, while continuing her work in the social services sector as a Senior Advisor with the GNWT.
why did I choose this phd program ?
I chose this program because I was looking for a program that would allow me to continue my career while completing my PhD work, and also for the opportunities I've had to travel to Switzerland and meet brilliant people from all over the world through the spring, summer and winter schools and other courses.
